








Template Editor
Use the Template Center to build custom inspection templates that define the structure of your inspections, including sections, items, and categorized comments.
Log in to the Template Center and click +Create New on the upper right, or click the edit icon ( 

+Add Section
In the Template Editor, click +Add Section, enter a Section Name, and click Done to create a new section.

+Add Item
In the sidebar on the left side of the Template Editor, locate the section where you want to create a new item and click it to expand it.
Click + Add Item. Then, enter the Item Name and click Done to insert the new inspection item.

Open Comment Panel
In the Template Editor, click an item you've added to open its comment panel in the main content area.

Filter and Organize Comments
Use the tabs labeled All, Informational, Limitations, and Defects to filter and organize comments by type in the Template Editor.

Add Comment
In the Template Editor, click + Add Comment, + Add Limitation, or + Add Defect within a section to insert a new comment. If no comments exist for a section, the panel displays No Comments Available.
Click and drag the texture icon ( 
When you're finished entering details and adjusting options for a comment, click the blue checkmark icon ( 

Settings
Click the Template Settings dropdown on the upper right of the Template Editor to access Category Settings for managing defect categories or Edit Details to update the template name and description.
Category Settings:
Click + Add Category to create a new defect category, or click the edit icon (
) to the right of an existing defect category to change it.
Enter or adjust the Category Name, choose whether or not to Include in Summary, and click Change next to the Color swatch to choose the color. When you're finished, click the blue checkmark icon (
) on the upper right to save your changes.
Click and drag the texture icon (
) at the top of a defect category to rearrange and rank them by severity.
Edit Details:
Enter the Template Name and Description as you want it to appear on the template card in the Template Center.
The Template Name entered here is also what is displayed in the Template dropdown when creating a new inspection in Property Vision.

Save Template
Click Save on the upper right of the Template Editor at any time when the Unsaved Changes indicator appears to preserve your edits.
