Google Calendar allows you to organize your inspection schedule, set reminders, and manage your availability from any device. Use these instructions to create and manage inspection events on your business calendar. Check out the video below to see this process in action:
Once Google Calendar is installed and configured with the account associated with your inspection business, follow the instructions below to schedule a new inspection:
Open Google Calendar, tap the plus icon ( + ) on the lower right, and select Event.
Enter the inspection details in the following fields:
In the Title field, enter a clear name, such as Inspection - [Client Name].
In the Date & Time fields, set the start and end times for the appointment.
In the Location field, enter the full property address.
Adjust your notification settings. Press Add notification to create a specific reminder notification and/or tap the X to the right of a notification to remove it.
Adjust any additional settings:
Select a specific Color to visually categorize inspections.
Use the Add description field to add a description or include any notes
Use the Add Google Drive attachment option to attach any additional files
When you're finished, tap Save on the upper right to add the event to your calendar.
That's it! Once saved, the appointment appears on your calendar at the scheduled time and you will receive notifications based on the alerts you configured.
