Create and Manage Templates
The Template Center is where you build and organize the inspection templates that define the structure of your reports. Templates control the layout of sections, items, and comments, and allow you to standardize your workflow across inspections.

Create a New Template
To create a new template, click + Create New on the upper right of the Template Center to launch the template editor.
Once inside the editor:
Click + Add Section to begin building your template structure.
Click the options icon (
) on the upper right to edit Category Settings or Edit Details such as the template name.

Once saved, your template is displayed in the Template Center and can be selected when creating a new inspection in the Property Vision app.
Sort Templates
Tap Sort By: Title ↕ to open the sort menu and choose one of the following options:
Title (A to Z) – Sorts templates alphabetically.
Date Created (New to old) – Sorts templates by creation date.
Filter Templates
Tap Filter: All to open the filter menu and choose one of the following options:
All – Displays all templates.
Created by Cotality – Shows templates provided by Cotality.
Created by me – Shows templates you’ve created.
Created by my company – Shows templates created by others in your organization.
Template Cards
Each template is displayed as a card with summary information including the title of the template, the date it was created, who created it, and a description of the template’s purpose or contents. Action icons appear on the upper right of each card:
Delete (
) – Click the delete icon to remove the template from the template center.Copy (
) – Click the duplicate icon to create a duplicate copy of the template. The new template includes (Copy) in the title.Edit (
) – Click the edit icon to open the template in the Template Editor.View (
) – Original templates created by Cotality cannot be edited or deleted. Instead, these cards display a View icon that allows you to open and review the contents of the template.
